Want to do biblical studies in Bible Lands?

The alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education is offering a 3 ½ - week study tour to Israel and Jordan,

  • May 10 - June 4, 2010

for students and faculty of our nineteen endorsed schools.

Earn 3 hours of (undergraduate or graduate) credit for the course entitled "Geographical and Historical Settings of the Bible" taught in partnership with Jerusalem University College. Students selected for this study program will receive scholarships from the contributions of generous Assemblies of God friends to cover 50% of the costs of the program!

This is not your grandparents' Israel tour!

    • You will study hard before leaving (on 40 hours of mapping assignments), take a Walk Thru the Bible seminar when you arrive, and do assignments and take exams while on the Study Tour.
    • You'll walk 150 miles or more - up and down, over cliffs and through canyons, wilderness and waters.  Where the patriarchs traveled.  Where Jesus was tempted. Where Indiana Jones was filmed.
    • You'll stay inside the Old City, dig for a day as an archeologist, and live for a day like Abraham - riding a camel, eating as he did, and sleeping in a Bedouin tent.
    • You can be baptized in the Jordan, find broken pieces of ancient pottery, relive the day of Pentecost on site, and practice your Greek translating ancient inscriptions.
    • You will learn, be enriched, and experience the lands of the Bible for yourself!!
